This Monday June 4 is the last membership meeting before the summer break.
We have an important update on the pending arbitration case, and a potential settlement.
As we have informed you previously our legal counsel feels the case may have some degree of merit, but has advised us to seek settlement in this case.
We have done that, and reached a point where we believe we have a reasonable accommodation. The National has been consulted, as well as our labor attorney. But it is you the membership that is the highest authority.
On Monday night we will review the current situation, and discuss a proposed motion to rescind the arbitration order. Your attendance is required.
