****Must have passed the POSS Test to be qualified for transfer unless this is a lateral transfer between stations for the associate. A future test will be given if necessary for those associates interested in transferring.

Ability to read, write, count and comprehend written or verbal instructions in English. Refer to operating instructions and manuals regarding operating, servicing, adjusting and maintaining equipment requiring some interpretation. Over three months up to and including twelve months. Use of some judgment to comply with instructions, prescribed routines, methods and/or practices; involving making minor decisions in tending to ash handling system, the screen house equipment, some fuel handling equipment, i.e. bulldozer and front end loaders, dock lines, hoses and pumps for receiving or transferring fuel oil. Operate Bobcat, conveyors, crushers, tripper and other equipment. Perform other related duties as required. Hazardous Waste: Coordinate day-to-day activities of Hazardous Waste management System (HWMS); perform inspection of HWMS; maintenance of manifest records, inspection logs, land ban analytical results and other records required by regulators. Frequently involves average physical effort to use heavy bars and tools. Assist in overhauling and repairing station equipment. Continuous mental and visual attention; requires alertness to tend to equipment, detect and repair malfunctions, and follow prescribed work methods.
